168 most disadvantaged households owned the houses shaped by their own ideas and their own hands.

239 people in 168 household were contributed as labour. Average participation of the households is 53 workdays and the total number of workdays was 8 935, 5 days.
The families received their homes as grant with the condition of not selling or renting for a period of ten years.

Engenderment of the sense of community, through application of a steering committee and participation program among beneficiaries representing 6 different cultural texture /ethnic groups.

BEYDER association was established by beneficiaries to oversee the managerial and financial responsibilities of the residential needs to ensure sustainability of the project.
A community centre, which was constructed for the program community, served as an administrative and social centre during the implementation of the project and will be the base of BEYDER.
Vocational Training, 18 unemployed young members of beneficiary households were trained on overall construction works for 2 weeks. They chose specialization areas and continued to improve skills through traditional master-apprentice relationship on field.
Job opportunity, the program created a job opportunity about 20 skilled construction worker from Düzce, 7 of which were beneficiaries.

Capacity building of Düzce Municipality , Düzce Municipality got involved in project based cooperation with an NGO and in a housing project for the first time.

Capacity building of IBC, IBC realized its first self help housing project.
A health centre, adhering to the participation principles a health centre which will serve the neighbourhood of 12000 people constructed and equipped.
